Recommended horror films?

I'm just getting into them and the only ones I've seen are: the crazies, scream 1-3, Halloween, Zombieland(more of a comedy), and night of the living dead. Any reccomended ones? No dumb ones like the stepfather or prom night. Seriously scary ones.
